Silver Line needs to be set-up to submit an order to XpressPOS without submitting it to Silver Line. For instructions please see the Silver Line document:
If you have any questions about this set-up, please contact Silver Line iQ support.
For the System Settings for this Module, please refer to the Module System Settings page.
Tip: The symbol at the bottom left corner will connect to the main Saberis support page directly from the Options & Settings form.
Run the XpressPOS 2006 Options & Settings program from the All Programs Menu. The XpressPOS 2006 Options and Settings run command is under the Saberis XpressPOS 2006 menu item.
On the Options & Settings form, select the Silver Line iQ button on the left.
Then select the Configure button as shown below.
The General Tab has one setting. You can turn the Summary Form on or off. The main use of the Summary Form is to allow the user to change the cost factor for a particular order. Other options can be changed such as the method of pricing and the selling factor. Changes made in the Summary form only affect the current order and do not affect the default setting in the Options & Settings form.
The SKU Tab allows you to enter your POS/ERP system's valid default SKU for Silver Line iQ.
The Description Tab has a Word Wrap option. Word Wrap is almost mandatory for all POS/ERP system.
If you do not use "Word Wrap" the descriptions could be truncated. This is not normally recommended.
Most Legacy POS/ERP systems are limited to 32 characters of imported description data. Word Wrap will create comment lines with the overflow.
For BisTrack and the Saberis Standard XML export file format, set the "Length" to 254.
Phrase Mapping is a very effective way to reduce the length of the description coming out of all Windows & Doors and Millwork quote systems. Please see the Phrase Mapping Instructions for all XpressPOS modules.
The Pricing Tab allows for the costing of each item by entering a cost factor and checking the box. XpressPOS will apply the factor to the list price.
You can also apply a selling factor or use the factored pricing that was used in Silver Line iQ.
Click on OK to save the settings.
