changes for andersen iQ v9

The new version 9 default installation folder has been changed from the previous versions. Therefore, users will have to change the iQ "Save As" folder, and the matching XpressPOS Import File Path.

Steps to set-up a new "Save As" folder:

  1. Select the Submit command in Andersen iQ.

The Submit Projects form has been improved. There is now a check box for "Sales Order - Detailed". Check this box, and it will be saved as the default. No need to select "Detailed document".

Then select the Submit Order button.

The Save As form comes up with the new Andersen iQ folder as a default.

Normally we would not recommended saving files in the application "root" folder. You can save them to any folder you want. However, since  iQ will always default to C:\Program Files\Andersen iQ\ folder, we recommend that you save the file in this default folder.

Name the file XpressPOS (this assumes that you have not changed the name of the XpressPOS Import file name in the XpressPOS Options and Settings).

Click on Save.

(Windows Vista Save As form is shown)

Run the XpressPOS Options and Settings program from the Windows Menu.

Select the Andersen button.

Click on the "Ellipse" button. Change the file path to the same as you set in the Andersen iQ "Save As" folder (C:\Program Files\Andersen iQ\).

Click OK to Save, and exit the Options and Settings program. You can now start processing iQ V9 orders.
