2020 has a new Service Pack. 2020 Technologies has sent an email
to all their customers about the 8.1 SP2.
The 2020 Service Packs
have always been very good as far as the Application Integration Module
(XML) is concerned. We have run some tests with the new Service Pack 2
installed, and have not seen any problems in the XpressPOS process.
However, although we ran tests with the existing Application
Integration version, we were informed by 2020 support that it’s best to
install the new Application Integration 2.2 SP2 to match the new SP2 for
the main Design program.
The new Application Integration Service
Pack can be downloaded from:
www.2020.net
Please let us know if you encounter any problems
with the order processing with XpressPOS.

February 5, 2009
Andersen iQ V9 has changed its default install
which is causing problems. The new folder is C:\Program Files\Andersen iq\.
The user must change the XpressPOS Import File Path to
match it. Please see
Changes for Andersen iQ version 9.
▪January
27, 2009
Andersen iQ V9 is being shipped today by Andersen.
From what we know at this stage, there are
no changes to the XML Document that we use as the data source.
We have not received a pre-released copy
of iQ at this time. We start our testing tomorrow, January 28.
We will also be asking a few customers to run
tests immediately upon receiving the new V9.
We highly recommend that you do
not install the new version for a couple of weeks. However, if
the sales people are very anxious to use any new products that are in
the new release, then XpressPOS should be able to process them. The user
will get the following warning: “The source document version iQ9.0 doesn’t match the
list of available versions”.
The user will have the option
of processing the order anyway.
We strongly suggest that if you do
process orders from V9 before we finish field tests, that the details
of the first few orders be verified. Pay particular attention to
Adjustments and Quantities in composite parts.
Saberis would
appreciate any feedback on the results, both positive and negative.

question". This support is in addition to our 800 support line, and email
support.
